Help with Navigation of this site.
The site is accessed through the opening page which provides links to different parts of the site. Clicking on the "Procedures" link provides an overall contents page which offers the opportunity to navigate directly to a particular section of the Policies and Procedures of the Board, to interrogate the A to Z index, to access the Document Library, or, to access what to do if you have an immediate concern for a child.
Selecting a particular section of the Policies and Procedures raises a "section content" page with links to each heading within that section. In some instances, for simplicity of use, there may be a sub group of pages (e.g. the Health section in "Roles and Responsibilities") which will generate a further section content page with links to each page within that sub-group.
Every page has, at the foot, a link back to the overall contents page. Also, within each section of procedures, there is a link back to the section content. Note that when you are in a sub-group of pages, the contents link will take you back to the sub-group contents. Use the contents link on that page to return to the full section contents.
The A to Z index may be helpful if you wish to view a particular topic within the procedures. Selecting the A to Z link navigates to a link with each alphabetical letter. Selecting the letter of your choice displays all of the topics filed under that letter. Each entry on that page is linked to its source.
The Document Library contains pdf versions of documents relevant to these procedures. In some cases, particularly where tables are incorporated, the document appears sideways. Use the mouse to right-click within the document. Use the rotate clockwise command. Alternatively there will be a "rotate clockwise" or similar command in the "View" menu. It is dependent on which version of Acrobat Reader is loaded. If the page is too small to read either click the fill window button or use "zoom" from the "View" menu and select "fit width".
