Telford & Wrekin Children's Services
The Children's Services must discharge their duties having regard to the need to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. They must ensure that all of their agents who provide services on their behalf do so with regard to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Services for children must be delivered in accordance with all Government Guidance relating to the provision of those services. Specific Statutory Guidance can be found in "Working Together to Safeguard Children" and "Statutory Guidance on Making Arrangements to Safeguard and Promote the Welfare of Children Under Section 11 of the Children Act 2004" (chapter 3) which is available in the document library in these procedures.
Services must be delivered in a way that is consistent with Safeguarding and Corporate Parenting Service Procedures
