The Telford & Wrekin Safeguarding Children Board has a distinct identity within the Children’s Trust arrangements and a clear responsibility to undertake a scrutiny role. This will include an audit programme as part of the overall work programme.
The Board will be consulted by the Children's Trust on issues affecting how children are safeguarded and their welfare promoted.
The Board will be formally consulted as part of the development and review of the Children and Young People's Plan.
The Board will provide an annual report to the Children's Trust.
