Helpdesk role following referral
The Helpdesk staff will work in accordance with the Business Process Policy paragraph 19 onwards. This forms part of the Policy and Procedures of the Safeguarding and Corporate Parenting Service.
The policy deals with the arrangements for arriving at the start date of section 47 enquiries, the process relating to strategy discussion, the completion of an Initial Assessment, the arrangements for the immediate protection of the child and the arrangements for calling an Initial Child Protection Conference.
The courses of action decided upon when applying these policies will be communicated to the person making the referral to the Helpdesk
