Resolution Meetings

If there is to be no Child Protection Conference following the completion of section 47enquiries a Resolution Meeting is to be convened to consider the outcome of the enquiries and any further action that is required.

In cases where an allegation has been made against a professional or registered carer, that action may include the use of disciplinary procedures or a referral to the Fostering or Adoption Panels.

A second Resolution Meeting will be convened to consider the outcome of the disciplinary proceedings, if these are entered into.

When all enquiries are completed a further Resolution Meeting must be held to give consideration to the requirement to notify any relevant professional body or to the notification to List 99, the POCA and/or POVA Lists etc. or to the General Council for Social Care (GSCC).
