Children of Prisoners
Whilst children of prisoners are not necessarily in need of protection they do constitute a vulnerable group who may be in need of safeguarding and support.
Staff working with children of prisoners are advised to contact

- Prisoners’ Families Helpline www.prisonersfamilieshelpline.org.uk which provides a range of resources for both families and professionals and is able to advise on a range of support.
