Migrant children
Migrant children must be afforded the same opportunities as all children. It is important therefore that they are registered with a G.P. and enrolled in a school as soon as possible.
If a professional becomes aware of a new family, they should check that such matters have been attended to and assist if necessary (this may require the involvement of an Integrated Service Manager and/or TAC process).
