What to do if you are worried a child is being abused

Who to contact

If you are worried or concerned about anyone under 18, who you think is being abused or neglected. Or that a child and their family need help and support, then please pick up the phone and ring the Children's Helpdesk.

Helpdesk staff are trained to offer advice and to decide on what course of action needs to be followed in the circumstances.
