Telford and Wrekin Safeguarding Partnership is responsible for making sure that children, young people and adults are kept safe in Telford and Wrekin.

Following a review, the Telford and Wrekin Safeguarding Children Board is changing. The responsibility for making sure that children and young people are safe will now be led by the newly created Telford and Wrekin Safeguarding Partnership. The partnership will also have responsibility for safeguarding adults.

The new partnership includes Telford & Wrekin Council, West Mercia Police, and Telford & Wrekin Clinical Commissioning Group (the NHS) as well as a wide range of other partners.

Together they are responsible for making sure that children of all ages and abilities get the help and protection that they need in Telford & Wrekin. The Safeguarding Partnership Arrangements for Telford and Wrekin outline how the partnership will achieve that aim.
